NCM Motorsports Park proudly welcomed the American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) to Bowling Green for an action-packed weekend of motorcycle competition from June 26–28, marking the beginning of an exciting new partnership between two organizations dedicated to delivering premier motorsports experiences.
Known for hosting some of the most competitive motorcycle road racing events in the country, ASRA brought talented riders from across the nation to compete on NCM Motorsports Park’s challenging Bike Loop. The inaugural event showcased thrilling on-track battles, passionate competitors, and an enthusiastic fan base, setting the stage for a strong relationship between the two organizations moving forward.
“We were thrilled to welcome ASRA to NCM Motorsports Park for the first time,” said Greg Waldron, Chief Executive Officer of NCM Motorsports Park. “This event represented more than just a race weekend, it marked the beginning of a promising partnership between two organizations that share a passion for motorsports excellence. ASRA’s commitment to competitive racing, rider development, and fan engagement aligns perfectly with our mission to provide world-class motorsports experiences.”
ASRA representative Alex Spellman echoed the excitement surrounding the event.
“We at ASRA were pumped to head to NCM Motorsports Park for the very first time,” said Spellman. “This beautiful Kentucky circuit was brand-new territory for us, and we were excited to bring our high-speed superbike racing action to its challenging layout. The response from racers, teams, and fans was incredible, and we had an unforgettable experience filled with great competition and the signature ASRA energy.”
The technical nature of NCM Motorsports Park’s Bike Loop circuit proved to be an ideal venue for motorcycle competition. Featuring a combination of high-speed straights, elevation changes, and demanding corner sequences, the course challenged riders throughout the weekend while delivering exciting racing for spectators.
Beyond the action on track, the event highlighted the shared vision between ASRA and NCM Motorsports Park to grow motorcycle road racing and create memorable experiences for racers and fans alike. Throughout the weekend, visitors enjoyed access to the paddock, opportunities to interact with teams and riders, and a firsthand look at the dedication and preparation required to compete at a high level.
“NCM Motorsports Park is proud to partner with ASRA and support the continued growth of motorcycle road racing,” Waldron added. “This weekend demonstrated the tremendous potential of what we can accomplish together. We look forward to building on this success and welcoming ASRA back to Bowling Green in the future.”
