During the winter months, NCM Motorsports Park has been hard at work preparing the facility for a safe and successful racing season ahead. With slower winter on-track activity, our facility crew has focused on critical infrastructure improvements designed to enhance safety for drivers and teams.

One major focus was Armco barrier evaluation and maintenance. Sections of the tracks Armco were inspected, repaired, and reinforced to ensure they meet safety standards and continue to provide reliable protection in high-speed areas. Proactive maintenance during off-season helps minimize possible down time and disruptions once the track is fully active.

In addition to barrier work, a comprehensive debris clean-up in Turn 18 was completed. Our facility crew removed organic materials from the famous turn 18. The clean-up improves visibility and overall track condition to ensure driver and rider safety.

Run-off areas also received attention, with grading and maintenance performed to restore proper slopes and surface consistency. Run-off will continue to be evaluated as we move from our winter months to our wet spring season to ensure attention continues in this area.

These winter improvements reflect NCM Motorsports Park’s ongoing commitment to safety, quality, and a first-class driving experience. As the new season approaches, our team will continue to chip away at track maintenance needs so that our guests can look forward to a safe and prepared track.
