September brings a unique mix of old and new to NCM Motorsports Park, proving once again that motorsports have something for every generation.
On the “new” side, NCM Motorsports Park welcomes the FARA Collegiate Racing Series, bringing the next generation of motorsports talent to the track. Collegiate racers had the opportunity to put their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit to the test on our challenging road course. The event was an exciting look at the future of racing and a chance to see up-and-coming talent in action. Wishing the series that best of luck with their remaining two legs of the series.
Then, an old favorite returns as the 24 Hours of Lemons rolled back into the park! Known for its creative cars, colorful teams, endurance racing, and anything-but-serious attitude, Lemons brings a completely different kind of energy to the track. Half the fun is the racing—the other half is seeing what shows up in the paddock and wondering how some of these machines are still running! It’s a try joy to have 24 Hours of Lemon with us each year.
From collegiate racers representing the future of motorsports to seasoned Lemons teams proving that an old car still has plenty of laps left in it, September brings together two very different sides of the sport.
