Summer is finally here, and the NCM Kartplex presented by Crown Cork and Seal has plenty of excitement to keep you entertained all season long. With companion karts, junior karts, and adult karts, there’s something for thrill-seekers of all ages.
The high-speed karting experience has height requirements rather than age requirements making it a fantastic activity for the entire family. Guests must be 42” tall to ride as a passenger in the companion kart, 48” tall to drive the junior kart and 60” tall to drive the adult karts.
Open for public Arrive & Drive hours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-7:00 PM, the track layout includes multiple twists and turns, giving drivers the opportunity to test their skills and enjoy high-speed excitement.
“We are thrilled to be back for another season,” said Zach Sorenson, Karting Coordinator. “We worked on several enhancements throughout the winter months and are excited to offer timed races this season along with the return of the Grand Prix and Endurance races for larger groups.”
The Kartplex has several options for corporate events, birthday parties, youth groups, bachelor parties, and private rentals.
“Whether you’re here for public Arrive and Drive Hours or attending a private event, safety is our top priority,” continues Sorenson. “We provide every guest with the proper safety gear and also host a safety briefing prior to taking the track.”
Located just off Exit 28 on I-65, the facility’s strategic location, adjacent to the National Corvette Museum, the NCM Kartplex it an ideal destination for car enthusiasts and families alike.
