The NCM Motorsports Park is delivering on its mission to provide premium guests experiences with the introduction of Driving Academy: Level Three. This program builds upon the success and popularity of the Level 1 and Level 2 programs, whose predecessor was the acclaimed Corvette Experience.
Level Three of the Driving Academy is the pinnacle of skill and performance. This two-day school takes a deep dive into the world of high-performance driving and puts guests behind the wheel of our C8 Stingrays while they test their skills, enhance their knowledge, and grow their confidence!
Both days are the culmination of everything learned in each previous tier of the Driving Academy program, a true test of skills and knowledge. With an instructor in the passenger seat, guests will take on our fully flagged Grand Full course, with its 3.2 miles of asphalt and 23 turns of challenge and speed, along with our most in-depth and intimate classroom sessions yet.
NCM Motorsports Park’s Driving Academy is a tiered driving school program designed for Corvette enthusiasts and car lovers looking to improve their skills in a safe and fun environment. The program allows guests to drive MSP Corvettes while participating in a rotation of classroom sessions, paddock activities and on-track exercises. With three distinctive program levels available, the Driving Academies offer participants an immersive and educational experience. The team of expert instructors has crafted a program that offers participants high-level instruction tailored to a diverse array of skills and comfort levels with the focus being on developing continued confidence and safety for drivers.
In addition to educational offerings in the NCM Motorsports Park’s fleet of Corvettes, MSP also offers high-performance driving programs in your own vehicle. The Introduction to High Performance Driving (IHPD) program is designed for new drivers, or drivers looking to gain more confidence before transitioning to a traditional HPDE program, which stands for High-Performance Education and offers novice, intermediate, and advanced run groups.
Whether a driver starts in the IHPD or HPDE, they can expect a safe, fun, and educational approach to learning that focuses on mastering fundamental skills. With a combination of classroom time and on-track sessions, all drivers can increase their knowledge and performance in a safe and controlled environment on the 3.2 mile closed-circuit road course.
Each of the NCM Motorsports Park programs has been carefully cultivated and refined over many years by staff professionals and includes fundamentals for both on track driving and everyday drivers. Topics include vehicle dynamics, car control, cornering, braking and more!
