Now, we have even more great news as the track has rolled out two programs putting you in the classroom and behind the wheel with Andy! This is your opportunity to learn from one of the best in a fantastic setting where you can bring your own car or use one of ours.

COACHING WITH ANDY PILGRIM

Groups and individuals can book private coaching sessions with Andy. The one-on-one sessions allow for up to two drivers per day and included in the fee is private track time at the NCM Motorsports Park, Andy setting a data lap, takeaway data and analysis via VBOX. Lunch is included in this program, and if the two-day option is booked, dinner is included on the first day of the two-day session. Sessions are 9am-5pm CT.

Group sessions can accommodate up to five drivers and include private track time, instructional classroom time, and takeaway data and analysis. Lunch is also included in the group sessions, which are 9am-5pm CT.

Participants are already raving about the experience. “It was clear from the start of the coaching session that Andy was very interested in why I am pursuing high performance driving, and what were my goals for this hobby,” said Carter Sorenson. “He is a wealth of knowledge on this topic and this was evident to me due to the sessions on the track with him, and then debriefing in the classroom after those sessions.”

Carter said he found the use of the data collected from the track sessions extremely educational because of his explanation of the data and how that could improve his track time. “I feel I learned a lot just by listening to what he had to say!”

Andy explains things like how to better position your seat and steering wheel so that there is less strain on a driver’s shoulders. “A particular point that I learn from him was how the first 20 degrees of steering should be utilized to allow the tires and the suspension to communicate with each other,” said Carter. “I would have never realized that.”

Carter conveyed how impressed he was with Andy’s genuine interest in him. “He even came to watch me the following day when I was running on the track with Chin, and dropped by my trailer to let me know of his observations. I felt that it was well worth the time spent with Andy and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to understand more about high performance driving!”
