The inaugural Pratt Miller Fantasy Camp Driven Mobil 1™ is in the books, and the sold-out event was an incredible success drawing praise from guests, drivers, and team members.
The exclusive program gave Corvette enthusiasts the opportunity to train like professional drivers, drive high-performance C8 Corvettes, and learn from championship-winning experts including Corvette Racing’s Tommy Milner and Alex Sims.
Throughout the day, participants rotated through eight carefully curated modules covering every aspect of race preparation for both teams and drivers, along with an overview of simulator training, dietary plans, physical training programs, and more! From there, guests were immersed in in-depth sessions surrounding data analysis, pit stop strategies, and vehicle dynamics. Of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without some track time, so guests enjoyed driving sessions on both the East and West configurations of NCM’s world-class facility. Plus, each participant took on the autocross challenge in the E-Rays where they mastered acceleration, braking, and cornering techniques.
Each activity provided a rare insider’s look into how championship teams like Pratt Miller Motorsports prepare for competition at the highest levels.
“The Fantasy Camp is a true celebration of what makes the Corvette community so special,” said Greg Waldron, Executive Director of NCM Motorsports Park. “Pratt Miller brought the racing expertise, and we delivered on a dynamic guest experience. Together, we created something that not only educated and entertained but inspired. It’s a new benchmark for what fan engagement in motorsports can look like.”
“This environment has been great for interacting with fans. It’s given them an opportunity and a comfort level to approach us and have more meaningful conversations” said Tommy Milner, Corvette Racing driver. “We’ve exposed them to aspects of the racing world and how Pratt Miller operates. That has opened their eyes to things they never expected to even learn about. So, it gives them a different appreciation for what we do.”
Fellow Corvette Racing driver Alex Sims added, “It was lovely to cap off a championship winning season by being here with the fans. Some of them have even gotten memorabilia that they brought along to sign. They get to see the racecar out on the track up close and personal. It’s a really nice way to cap off a brilliant year.”
Beyond the professional instruction, participants enjoyed exhilarating hot laps by riding in the passenger seat as the pros took them on a thrilling high-speed adventure, diving into corners and accelerating in straights at racing speeds. The excitement of these laps capped off a day filled with learning, laughter, and lifelong memories.
“It’s one thing to watch racing on TV,” said Rick Kimsey, Fantasy Camp participant. “But to be in the driver’s seat, learning from the same people who build and race these cars, is an experience I’ll never forget.
His wife Kelly echoes the excitement by adding. “The combination of world-class instruction, incredible Corvettes, and hands-on experiences made for an unforgettable. Pratt Miller and NCM knocked it out of the park.”
