24 Hours of Lemons: Racing on a Budget, Fun Without Limits
The 24 Hours of Lemons, held September 19–21, 2025, is known for turning endurance racing into a hilarious test of creativity and grit. The Lemons series challenges teams to race cars that cost no more than $500, plus plenty of duct tape and imagination.
At NCM, teams rolled in by the dozens, showcasing wildly inventive builds and unmatched enthusiasm. The paddock buzzed with energy, tools clinking, engines roaring, and drivers swapping stories of mechanical miracles. Fans and participants alike reveled in the mix of competition and comedy that makes Lemons a motorsport experience like no other.
NASA Mid-South: The Final Lap Round #9
October brought serious competition as the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Mid-South Region hosted its Final Lap Round #9 from October 17–19. The event featured HPDE (High Performance Driver Education), Time Trials, sprint races, and endurance sessions, giving drivers of all skill levels a chance to push their limits.
Participants tackled the park’s renowned “Grand Full” configuration, a technical and rewarding course that challenges even the most seasoned racers. With racers from across the region, NASA’s weekend brought both precision and passion to the track—proving once again why NCM Motorsports Park remains a favorite destination for grassroots motorsport enthusiasts.
Fast Line Track Days: Wrapping the Season with Community and Chili
Fast Line Track Days held their final NCM weekend of the year on October 25–26. Designed for riders seeking safe, structured, and high-quality track time, Fast Line offers the perfect balance of learning, performance, and fun.
The season finale featured their annual Chili Cook-Off, a crowd favorite that brought riders and supporters together to celebrate the close of another successful season, all while raising funds to support the group’s continued efforts. It was the perfect mix of competition and community spirit.
