Now in its tenth year, Trek at the Track, presented by Houchens Insurance Group, will once again take place on Tuesday evenings at NCM Motorsports Park beginning April 7.
“We’re thrilled to continue this legacy offering,” said Chief Executive Officer Greg Waldron. “We have so much support and interest from the Bowling Green community. Trek at the Track offers a safe, enclosed environment for individuals, friends, and families to walk, jog, skate, or bicycle on our 3.2-mile road course. The track features a variety of elevation changes, offering a dynamic surface for exercise. With several configurations available, guests can also customize the length of the experience they’d like to enjoy.”
Pets are welcome at the facility as long as they remain on a leash, and owners must clean up after their animals. Rollerblades and roller skates are permitted; however, skateboarders are encouraged to use the skatepark downtown instead. Helmets are required, and no motorized vehicles are allowed on the track during this activity. In the paddock, a large, flat, paved surface is available for participants doing speed work.

“We’re pleased to be the presenting sponsor of Trek at the Track,” said Audrey Olden, Sales Enablement Leader at Houchens Insurance Group. “This program reflects our mission and desire to give back to the community in meaningful ways. We hope many area residents take advantage of this safe environment to exercise and enjoy free access to this community attraction.”
Trek at the Track is made possible thanks to our incredible partners, including Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, Houchens Insurance Group, Howard’s Cycling & Fitness, and Nat’s Outdoors Sports.
The activity will be offered, weather permitting:
- Tuesdays, April 7 – May 19: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesdays, May 26 – August 25: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
