The NCM Motorsports Park (NCM MSP) is set to host two dynamic driving events this July, catering to both newcomers and seasoned track enthusiasts. Designed to deliver adrenaline-pumping experiences in a controlled, professional setting, these programs are ideal for drivers eager to sharpen their skills or simply enjoy the thrill of the track.

July 16 – High Performance Driving Introduction (HPDI)
The month kicks off with the High Performance Driving Introduction on July 16. This beginner-friendly program is tailored for those new to performance driving or track environments. Participants will begin the day with classroom instruction, covering essential topics like vehicle dynamics, track etiquette, and the proper driving line. The program then transitions to on-track lead-follow sessions, where drivers follow professional instructors to apply the lessons in real time.
“The HPDI is all about making performance driving approachable,” said Ashley White, Experiential Coordinator at NCM MSP. “We want new drivers to feel comfortable, confident, and safe as they take their first steps into this exciting world. It’s an excellent gateway into more advanced programs.”
No prior track experience is required for HPDI, and participants are encouraged to bring their personal vehicles.

July 26 – Open Track Day
More advanced drivers will take center stage on July 26 during the Open Track Day. This event is designed for those with previous track experience and offers extensive on-track time for skill refinement, vehicle shakedowns, or simply enjoying the driving experience in a non-competitive setting.
Unlike the structured HPDI, Open Track Day offers maximum freedom for intermediate and advanced drivers who are comfortable navigating the course independently. All participants must complete a vehicle tech inspection and adhere to standard safety protocols, including required safety gear.
Both events will be held at NCM MSP’s state-of-the-art facility, located just across from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
