The team at Street Trucks will be covering the 1st annual “Pro-Touring Truck Shootout” at NCM track in Bowling Green, KY on August 8-9, 2020. #PTTS2020 This event is the worlds first true Pro-Touring truck competition against the top three American truck brands Chevy, Ford and Dodge. This is also a challenge for all truck frame manufacturers to build the “Ultimate Truck Chassis”.
For this first year, the competition will have three segments to it. This is a truck only Autocross, Speed-n-Stop Challenge and a Drivability Cruise. There will also be a Truck Corral section four our slammed-out truck brothers so they can support their favorite brand. Be sure to check out the latest manufactures products in the Vendor Alley.
The Autocross competition will start at 8:30 on Saturday and Sunday and last until around 5:30. The promoters have invited some of this country’s top-performing drivers and manufactures to show the public what these trucks can do. Saturday evening the 8th at 6pm is the “Drivability Cruise” which takes drivers on a 22 mile run to a local distillery for some taste testing.
Finally we head back at to the National Corvette Museum at 8pm to gather at the Skydome for dinner and a party which is a true tailgating experience. This event is completely catering to the true truck enthusiast and will be showcasing all the best products for building a true “Pro-Touring Truck.”
